Feline Digestive Enzymes 4 oz
Feline Digestive Enzymes 4 oz
Feline Digestive Enzymes™4 oz.
More and more veterinarians and cat nutrition experts are finding our cats deficient in digestive enzymes.
Veterinarians report a wide range of improvements, including healthier hair coat and skin, more resistance to illness, more vigor and mobility, and maintenance of good body weight.
They are increasingly recommending digestive enzyme supplements for bowel disease, digestive irregularities and chronic diarrhea.
Dr. Goodpet's Feline Enzymes are made from natural plant sources, shown by research to be highly effective, less costly, and with a wider range of activity than animal-based enzyme supplements. Research also shows a strong link between enzyme deficiency and disease. Enzymes are particularly beneficial for older animals who often slowdown in their natural ability to produce digestive enzymes.
Daily Dosage: 1/2 teaspoon (875 mg) per cup of food. Each 4 oz. bottle contains 64 teaspoons.
Dr. Goodpet's Feline Enzymes are recommended in Anitra Frazier's Natural Cat Book and in Dr. Al Plechner's Pet Allergies: Remedies for an Epidemic and in Diane Stein's The New Natural Cat.

Great Products
We have 7 cats with multiple dietary issues caused by age and disease and the probiotics as well as digestive enzymes have been so beneficial to all of our babies.
My adult cats were vomiting way too often and way too much. I planted grass for them, but they needed something else. They are on a home-made, high-quality raw diet, very well created for cats. So I knew it was not his food (which they had eaten since childhood :-). They needed some extra support. I started giving them the Feline Enzymes combined with Dr. Goodpet Probiotics. I did not give them the full recommended amount but 1/2; otherwise, they won't eat it. I put it on their raw food and covered it with a little more food. After a couple of months, their vomiting was reduced to almost none. I still give them both products for maintenance, but 1/4 the recommended dosage. It is an excellent product, which works wonders with probiotics.
I have only received it three days ago and used it for the last 2 days. I cannot smell it, but I am under the impression Rascal can taste it as he does not always eat everything in his dish. Further I am confused about how much enzymes I should put in his food. The company seems to think all cats eat a ton of food a day; ours don't. they are small eaters, so I only use a quart of a European teaspoon (appr. half the size of an American teaspoon). If I use more than that he will be eating enzymes only. No, they do not get much dry food either.
I give it 4 stars. It's mixed in my food and I don't even taste it!

This works really well. My cat has had better digestion ever since I fed it to her.
I have been adding very small amounts to my cats canned food. She is almost 15, has lost weight and only eating small portions of canned food (3- 4) through out the day. That along with a" Homeo" digestive upset product has seemed to help.

My cat's pancreatitis has healed due to the Digestive Enzyme I ordered from Dr. Goodpet. It was what she needed to digest her food and to end her vomiting every day. Thank you Dr, Goodpet. I will continuing ordering products.
Works wonderfully on my pets digestive systems. Especially my older cats. I spend a lot on food , your products make it worthwhile. THANK YOU.
The cat hasn't had time to tell if it helps her digestion. We just got it. She does accept it sprinkled on her food.
My cat typically won't eat anything I sneak in food. This must taste good or no taste ,he eats it
Don't know yet it's only been a few days but looks promising.
Very pleased with this product. No problem adding it to my cats food, and they consume it without complaint. Much less mess related to stomach issues. I just purchased 2 additional bottles although each lasts a while.
My cat loves his Digestive Enzymes. He has a sensitive stomach and the Enzymes, along with his Dr. Goodpet Probiotics, really helps him. Love the quality of Dr. Goodpet products.
Have not used the products yet
My pet and I cannot survive without this product. She used to have significant problems digesting food with awful sudden-onset messy diahorrea and only this product works 100% to alleviate this. One level mini teaspoon of this product per day mixed in with pet food beef mince is eaten with gusto and *completely* solves all the messy problems, resulting in normal bowel function. This makes for a very happy cat and owner!!
We tried many products (including probiotics, other enzyme products, special diets, everything) to overcome the issue. In desperation, I tried this product on a whim after reading multiple positive reviews on Amazon and improvement is virtually immediate, with positive changes noticed the next day. After that there was a little trial and error to get the dosage right for my little princess but now she is functioning normally without requiring a special diet.
I cannot review this because I had to put my cat on a special diet.
This is the 3rd or 4th bottle I have ordered. That should tell you something. It seems to help his digestion and his bowels. OC is 24 yrs. old that we found as a kitten. I have a family of ferals that i feed and use it for them also. They are not very friendly and don't say much but they eat anything i put in front of them. I make their food from Dr. Fox's homemade cat food recipe. OC will only eat store bought cat food. So far, so good.
I put it in a salt shaker makes sprinkling on their food really easy. Started using not too long ago.
Cannot comment- not yet received
Was super excited to get this multienzymes/probiotics formula after reading such "great reviews." However I was SUPER sad & disappointed when I saw the reality of the true results. It made my baby WORSE. This product actually made him constipated & he started tipping his food bowl on the floor everytime I had the powder mix on his food. I finally stopped this product & the new side effects disappeared. PRAISE God for that. But now I'm still crying my heart out trying to find a natural product that actually works & will help my baby boy!!!! It's been over a year & no one can seem to help him!! My heart is SCREAMING for answers!! JESUS HELP!!! Our HELP comes from YOU LORD!! (Psalm 121) God bless & be with you all!! +++ Jeremiah 33:3, John 14, Matthew 28, Colossians 3, Romans 8, Hebrews 4, Psalm 91, Ephesians 2, Matthew 6, Philippians 4, Psalm 23, John 15, Romans 6, Psalm 30, Proverbs 3, Deuteronomy 3:22, Psalm 4, Ephesians 6, Galatians 5, Psalm 146 over everyone!!! +++
help put weight on aging cat
Amazing really helped my cat
Careful when buying this- it’s not a replacement for pancreatic enzymes if your cat has pancreatic insufficiency. It has less than 3% of the active ingredients as other pancreatic enzyme supplements.
A false and misleading comment! Clearly made up by some inept competitor. None of the statements have any validity whatsoever. Where does this individual get the analysis of all the other enzyme supplements? Over 25 years of veterinarians prescribing this product for pancreatic insufficiency! Dr. Goodpet digestive enzymes have the precise amounts of Protease, Amylase and Lipase as clearly stated on our label and proven by analysis of every production run.
My old cat Alabama threw up every probiotic and digestive enzyme formula until I found Dr. Goodpet, it is super easy on the digestive system and essential for cats who get enzymes naturally in prey but not in commercial or even home-cooked food, which I do. I add it to my weekly homemade food, freeze it and it's in every meal. Extra important when cats are on anti-biotics.
Great product and price, fine delivery. I've used this for years. I will continue to. THANKS!
We started using the digestive enzymes in October after a September diagnosis of IBD for our 3 year old cat. Along with a transition to solely wet food, kitty has been doing amazing!! Her poops are solid and well formed and she has lots of energy. My only caution is I often notice when I use too much kitty tends to have softer poops. Now we're sticking to 1/4 tsp a day and things look great.
One cat is finicky so not sure, other cat it's ok.
This product worked wonders for my cat who just finished 29 weeks of chemo for GI Lymphoma! He was throwing up more after the chemo treatments finally stopped than during treatment. He was also having issues with hair balls as well, which he has never had before. This product stopped the vomiting and worked pretty much immediately. His GI system is finally getting back to normal. So thankful for this product!!
My cat has some kidney failure and since we're started using the enzymes in all his food he looks so healthy and has the silkiest softest fur!
